particles and water, contained in a vertical storage tank above ground, into tankers for transportation in real time to the treatment plants.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c0026 e-con e-atomic-element e-div-block-base \" data-id=\"c0026\" data-element_type=\"e-div-block\" data-e-type=\"e-div-block\" data-interaction-id=\"c0026\" data-e-type=\"e-div-block\" data-id=\"c0026\">\n    \t\t\t<h2 data-interaction-id=\"w0015\" class=\"titolo-sezione e-heading-base\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-id=\"w0015\">Operating procedure<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"testo e-paragraph-base\" data-interaction-id=\"w0016\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-id=\"w0016\">A quantity of water amounting to not less than 10% was found in the oil.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-w0017 testo elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"w0017\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>The main issues relating to this job, which had to be done during winter, were<\/strong>:<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-w0018 testo elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"w0018\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul><li>the need to heat the product and keep it at a suitable temperature to remain liquid enough for efficiently carrying out the pumping, loading, transportation and unloading of the product at its destination without it solidifying even partially;<\/li><li>the need to transfer the oil to the tankers in the quantities and timescales required, while anticipating delays caused by setbacks whose number, frequency or duration could not reasonably be foreseen.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"e-image-base immagine\" data-interaction-id=\"w0019\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-id=\"w0019\" id=\"282\" src=\"https:\/\/www.effegigroup.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/fluidificazione-serbatoio-ocd.jpg\" width=\"350\" height=\"469\" was carried out round the clock<\/strong>, and for its entire duration the oil was heated continuously to maintain the required temperature.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-w0021 testo elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"w0021\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>The heating process was carried out<\/strong> by recirculating the product in the tank, as follows:<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"testo e-paragraph-base\" data-interaction-id=\"w0022\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-id=\"w0022\">sucking the HCO from the tank, transferring it to a heat exchanger and pumping it into the tanker; use of various types of pumps for the transfer, Combi pre-treatment units to homogenise the HCO, banks of filters, vapour coils for tracing the temporary lines used, sensors and thermal sensors for constant temperature control.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"testo e-paragraph-base\" data-interaction-id=\"w0023\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-id=\"w0023\">For filling the tankers, the following procedure was adopted: after heating to the required temperature the HCO was transferred to the tankers via a suitably prepared extension placed near to the valve at the bottom of the tank.
