Treatment of dregs

Effegi S.r.l. guarantees maximum recovery of crude oil dregs using the BSW system

The process is based on a pre-treatment system which prepares the product for the final separation using a three-phase separator specially designed and patented for crude oil dregs. Chemical additives are used which never produce extra artificial additives or new substances.

The recovered product is of excellent quality:

• Oil: BS&W < 3%
• Water: oil < 1%, sediments < 0.1%
• Sediments: 35% dry, low oil content

• Slop oil emulsions

The three-phase separators used by our company are all ATEX EEx II CT4 / BT4 certified and have the following characteristics:

• Speed: 3,800 rpm
• Capacity: 40 cu m/hour
